CanvasTool – Terms of Service
Rules and conditions that apply when using CanvasTool. Updated January 8, 2026.
1. Description of the Software
CanvasTool is a general-purpose browser automation, productivity, and informational assistance tool. The Software provides user-initiated features intended to improve workflow efficiency and information access.
CanvasTool is not designed, marketed, or guaranteed to comply with the rules, policies, honor codes, testing procedures, or terms of service of any educational institution or third-party platform.
2. User Responsibility
- 2.1 You are solely responsible for determining whether use of CanvasTool is permitted by your school, institution, employer, or any platform you access.
- 2.2 You are solely responsible for all actions taken using the Software.
- 2.3 CanvasTool does not encourage, endorse, promote, or facilitate academic dishonesty, cheating, or policy violations.
- 2.4 Any misuse of the Software occurs entirely at your own risk.
3. Acceptable Use
CanvasTool provides tools only; intent, application, and consequences rest solely with the User.
- 3.1 Violate academic integrity policies, honor codes, or testing rules
- 3.2 Circumvent safeguards, restrictions, or monitoring systems
- 3.3 Impersonate another individual
- 3.4 Engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive conduct
4. No Affiliation
CanvasTool is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Canvas, Instructure, or any educational institution. All trademarks and service marks belong to their respective owners.
5. Payments, License Keys, and Refund Policy
- 5.1 Each purchase grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license key.
- 5.2 License keys may not be shared, resold, sublicensed, or redistributed.
- 5.3 ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES ARE PROVIDED, except where required by applicable law.
- 5.4 Once a license key is issued, access is considered delivered.
- 5.5 Chargebacks, payment disputes, or suspected fraud may result in immediate and permanent termination without notice.
- 5.6 We reserve the right to suspend or revoke any license key at any time for abuse, policy violations, or legal or payment-processor risk.
6. No Guarantees or Warranties
CanvasTool is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- 6.1 Compatibility with any platform
- 6.2 Continuous or uninterrupted availability
- 6.3 Permission by any institution
- 6.4 Detection avoidance or outcomes of use
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CanvasTool and its operators shall not be liable for:
- 7.1 Academic penalties or disciplinary actions
- 7.2 Account suspensions, bans, or restrictions
- 7.3 Loss of data, grades, or access
- 7.4 Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Use of the Software is entirely at your own risk.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access at any time, with or without notice, for legal, operational, security, or risk-related reasons.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
